The Greek Life Commons will utilize the values and ideals of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Greek community to create an environment conducive to a successful collegiate fraternal experience. The Greek community will strive for excellence in scholarship, service, leadership, involvement, diversity, building community, and brotherhood/sisterhood.
The office is located in the Office of Student Living and Learning in the 1st floor of the Commons Building. A team of professional staff oversee all the Greek community and its operations as a fundamental component to Rensselaer's undergraduate education, and would be happy to address the concerns of students and parents with questions about Greek life on campus.
Greek Life is an exciting part of a student's college experience. In an effort to make each student's college experience fun, safe, and productive, the Dean of Students Office attends to issues related to the Greek Community. In addition, the Associate Dean for Greek Life Commons works closely in collaboration with the Interfraternity and Panhellenic Councils to assure that each member of the Greek student community works hand-in-hand with each other and the administration.
